Pictures of Borla cat back on an L?

Anyone have any pictures of the Borla exhaust on a Lightning? Close ups would be good.

Thanks, Jason

I have that system on my truck. However, I have changed the tips to a Borla 3.5" intercooled tip. Looks way better.

I would take pictures but with the 1 foot of snow we are getting up here and the amount of salt on my truck....I would be embarassed right now!

I'll take some when it clears up a bit more.

On that last picture it shows the reduction from a 2.5 inch tube to about 2.25" going in and out of the mufflers. I don't know how much that matters...

Since the ehaust has cooled considerably by the time it reaches the muffler, the reduction in diameter will help maintain healthy backpressure. I noticed a loss of some bottom end torque, when I switched to the Silver Bullet from the Borla. The sound more than made up for it though. I don't have the old dyno graphs anymore; but, it was only about 8 ft/lbs loss; and, i gained a little more top end hp. I only had a 2 lb. lower at the time; so, it would be a bigger difference with a more heavily modded truck. I've considered putting the Borla back on now that I'm running LTs and hi-flow cats. I'd bet that it would sound a lot better now.

Those are OZ Racing Vela's, in either 22's or 23's. Good luck gettin a set as they are about 1000 each, before having them custom painted like that guy did to the Black. Then add the price of tires. If you got the money they are a SWEET set of wheels, Matter of fact "MYSVTSITSON23S" used to have them on his truck in silver.
