Flaking rotor and clogged I/C pics

I've been reading about the rotors flaking, and it seems normal for the L's. Here's a few pic of what I found today

The drivers side rotor has one vane that is peeling, the others all look okay. The I/C is covered with flakes (and oil).

Has anyone gotten the rotors replaced under warranty for flaking?

i took mine off the other day and it was flaking that bad. I didnt actually take the s/c off and clean the intercooler. What all should i do to clean the s/c itself. Do you have to take it apart to clean the s/c or can i just spray it out with brake clean while it is off of course.

It's a '01 with between 20 and 25k. I have no engine mods to the truck.. is it safe to assume this is not appropriate wear, and I should bring the blower to the dealer to get them to replace the rotors?

Normally warranty repairs require the dealer to do the work. How did you know the rotors were flaking?

My guess is, it was discovered during an I/C change/ repair.

I'm going to bring just the blower down on Monday and see what they say.

When I took my blower off last week there was no teflon on the intercooler. I looked at the vanes and I didn't see any flaking whatsoever. I am still debating whether or not to take it apart and send it to Apten to get ported. I cleaned the intercooler yesterday too. It wasn't really that bad consider my truck has almost 26,000 miles on it. A spray bottle full of acetone made quick work of it.
