Blower belt removal and intercooler fluid replacement?

Removing the blower this weekend to send to Apten and clean the intercooler.

I never have removed the belts so I need to know how to get them off and what tools I would need.

Also, once I drain the intercooler, what fluid should I use to replace it? Do I have to mix it with water?

Thanks

You need a 1/2" breaker bar to get the belt off. You put it in the square hole in the tensioner. It is on the front of the motor towards the top left. Push down and towards the drivers side of the truck and the belt will slip off. As for the intercooler I would just flush it out with straight water and use Redline Water Wetter or Royal Purple Ice coolant. I used Redline when I put my JDM heat exchanger and noticed a difference in the Hawaii heat. Just for reference I stole this from Rob_02. Notice the breaker bar next to the intercooler reservior.
