Can you guesstimate what i'll run...need an idea
i think you can get into the 12.30s at 108 109. with my mods below i went 12.54 at 108 that was before the dyno tune. previous before tuning i put down 384hp and 497 tq and that was at englishtown in 45 degree weather. so im thinking in cool weather now that i picked up 16hp and 20 tq i can get into the 12.4 area and thats with stock exhaust so my opinion is u can def. get 12.30s even possibly into the 12.20s
I'd say you could probably get into the 12.40-12.50 range if you really get your launch down pact. From what I've gathered the key to good et's is in the launch....we have alot of weight in our trucks and the better faster you can get it up and moving outta the hole, the better your et will be. everyone normally shoots for the 1.8 range on street tires, and I believe 1.6 range on slicks...but recently I believe a guy got a 1.58 on nitto drag radials, which is amazing.
With the same mods minus the headers i saw 12.4's on good days. You should be able to do atleast that. I am a far superior driver though so maybe not.
I could teach you the burn out in reverse for those super times. Keep that secret quiet though.
best of luck next season. I am sure you will be running in the low 12's atleast. Talk to u later.

I disagree with some and dont want you to get your hopes up.Back here in reality,You will REALLY run what i stated before. You asked for REAL HONEST #s.I gave them to you.i want you to know that in order for you to get 12.20s -40s,You should hope for a 20mph tailwind at about 2000ft below sea level maybe at at cecil.Although it is possible like anything is.I think if you really practiced on your launch and your tires hooked you might be in the 12.5 range which will be a as consistant as your driving abilty.Just becuase your truck *****MIGHT**** break a 12.4999999999 one time doesnt mean it runs 12.4s.If it ran 12.5s consistantly or most or the time,it is a 12.5 truck. Just because the first second came off quick doesnt mean they all do.There is a huge difference between a 12.20s and 12.50s and 105mph and 109mph
as far as removing the tailgate,That actually can slow you down. The spare tire can give less traction. Those things have a better chance of hurting you than helping.
i am certainly no expert racer but i have been doing it for quite a long time now.I have won 1st place national evens with 150 cars completing in my class
I have a little knowledge.

i'll hit a 12.4X without a 20mph tailwind and being 2000ft below sea level.
you'll see.
i do realize there's a BIG difference between 12.20s and 12.50s. i ran 13.4 stock then chopped it down to 12.97 with the chip and filter. i felt a big difference. i know it takes alot more power to wipe out time as you get faster.
thank you all for your input! i do appreciate it. you'll see my new best times posted up here come spring time!
