Rusting exhaust tips...

I have an 03 with about 14,000 miles on it and my exhaust tips have started to rust. I'm sure I can polish them and take it out but I didn't think they should be rusting to begin with. Is this common?

It is actually very uncommon..........

You might very well be the first person to leave the stock catback on for that long.

So do you think ford will replace my tips if they're rusting?

They would probably replace them but I would get some stainless tips or something that isn't quite so hard to clean.

Just get a Magnaflow catback. The sound is great and they are easy to install.
