New Fuel Filter "tool"
New Fuel Filter "tool"
Finally hit 15000 miles, and figured its about time to change out my fuel filter...went down to autozone picked it up, came home, took one side off the old one, and was stuck. I tried using a screwdriver as im sure most of you have, but it didnt work. Knowing what the actual removal "tool" looks like, I figured it cant be that hard to make one. I cut a Sharpie marker cap, and put a slit in it. Slipped it on, and wallah, it came right off. Saved me the trouble of going down to the store and $2. Took a blurry pic of it, and some pics of my system while i was at it...not much info here...just another way to remove the filter.
