SES Light just came on.....do'h

Well I was driving home from a buddies just a little bit ago. I was driving normally, wasnt pushing the truck or anything. It was about 42 degrees from what the overhead console said. My truck was already warm, but it was still chilly. Anyway, I was just crusing home at about 40-45 mph, driving straight as an arrow, and the SES light came on. No funny sounds, lack of power, weird shifting...nothing. The light just came on. Any ideas? All I have is a PSP filter/fastair, and a magnaflow catback, either of which i couldnt think would cause the SES light to come on. The truck only has 3600 miles on it...still brand new.....

options...

1. Autotap (or equivalent software)

2. VatoZone will read the code for free and clear it with some persuasion.

Alan ....oh my god...dont drive it anymore before you blow it up

Hey, I can meet up with you... and I will scan it for the code and see whats up , or take it to autozone...post the code or call me and I'll tell you what it is or check here http://www.svtlightnings.com/scantoo...tc%20codes.htm (thanks Doug)
...my shop rate is 65 dollars an hour and I'll only charge 2 hours.... I bet the code will come up as "nugget driver"

check all your sensor connections into the air intake, like the MAF and IAT Sensors.
