valve cover gaskets

I was going to do a cam swap with a friend but decided not to, anyways I put the drivers side valve cover back on with the same used gasket. Its leaking oil now. I put some silicone on it and it still leaks. Are this gaskets re-useable, or is it better to get new ones? Does some one have a part number?

Cool

HI!... The valve cover gasket is basically a rubber "O" ring. It should be re-usable. I've had my valve covers off several times and have always re-used the gasket. No leaks here.

Yep, I have reused my valve cover gaskets three times now, you just have to be very careful with them and make sure that it stays in the groove
