Im not going to be able to buy any mods this year. My money is going towards a big trip Im taking this summer. I need rims because I curbed the passenger side ones pretty bad last year and I need new tires but its going to have to wait until 05. Im bummin'. Just needed to voice this to understanding ears. My girlfriend just doesnt get it.

 

Ok. Are you going with your gf? If yes, how involved are you? I mean like , are you two going to get hitched? Think real hard about the time and money involved, kinda like an investment. I went down this road and would like to kick my own a$$ for a vacation I took with someone. It was not worth it and I was out about $2500. It truly sucked!

All kidding aside, me and my Son spend 3-4 k in one week, each and every year up in Lake George NY, mostly eating up to 4 Lobsters each for dinner every night, plus I rent a huge house for the week and have people come meet me up there.
I know I could go to some far off beautiful place in the world for much cheaper, once I even saw a pic where the water was actually not brown or green, don't remember where but people tell me some places in the world you can actually see the bottom of the lake OR SOMETHING ???

Point is, I may not be able to give jr a normal life with a normal family structure, but he will cheerish the memories we have together each and every year on vacations, even if it's just enjoying the good old Mountains of Lake George.
We also do a 2nd summer week right here in LI, water parks, amusement parks, aquarium, game rooms, beaches, etc...
Yet I'm in hock up to my eyebrows.
But you can't go back later and add this stuff.
DO IT, you'll remember it for life,
even know it's a total rip off.....

 

It was the other way around for me. I dumped my boyfriend right before Christmas, and then I found out he had a 7 day cruise planned for my birthday. OOPS!

 

This is actually my trip with her coming along. Im renting a 24 ft motor home and driving cross country to British Columbia to go mountain biking. Something I've always wanted to do. Pretty pricey so I have to lay off the mods. I got no complaints with us going together. What I meant about her not understanding was about the withdrawl I'll go through about mods.
