Just installed the Jlp forced air and everything seems to be fine except when turning. My wheel is rubbing against the metal tube that connects to the scoop. How do I stop this from happening or can I stop it? Need help quick. Thanks

 

Mine did the same thing. What I did to stop it was move the metal tube around and make everything extremely tight till it stopped rubbing. also my tire eventually wore some of the tube away so that it wouldn't rub anymore. I dont know if i was of any help but thats what i did. Good luck.

 

Ditto. Just tighten up all the black zip ties, it's pretty close, but mine doesnt rub at all.

 

sdlightning, dont meant to hijack your thread, but im in sd also, just wondering what color you are, maybe ive seen you around? and do you ever go to qualcom to race?

My L is DSG . Just got my plates on last week had those great lime green Mossy Ford dealer paper plates on before that. No haven't been to Qualcomm yet. Nice to hear from someone in SD.

 

Ive got a DSG also, but i got mine from bob baker, hopefully your experience with mossy was better than mine was with bob! I havent gone racing at qualcomm yet, but ive gone to watch, seen a few L's, thought maybe one was you. youve got a 04 then im guessing?

No its a 03. Just got her in October. Ya mossy wasn't really a problem or has been one yet...They had a great price. Haven't seen too many DSG around here. HAve you seen that red lightning with the PEpsi stickers on the side? I have seen it a couple times driving to work on the 805. Looks cool I guess.

 

I got mine back in august, i didnt have a problem with bob baker except for cutomer service (long story)...ive seen a red one, but it was on base, i dont recall any stickers though...i do see a black and blue one often though. what mods have you got so far?
