Question Billet Antena Mod

Can anyone tell me where is the best place to get a billet antena? I wasn't originally going to get one, but today when I went to tighten my factory antena (keeps getting loose) I tightened just a little too much. Twisted the got dam threaded part into two pieces. Of course the other half is stuck inside the base on the fender. So if I have to go new, why not bling. Thanks in advance for your help.

Well, I bought a billet antenna for my '03 L from Stylin Concepts.
Installed it and the billet with the DSG looked like chitttt in my eyes and a few others whose input I value. That billet antenna came right off. That billet antenna now resides on my sons dropped '00 Red S10. Billet antenna looks GREAT on that! I opted to cut down my stock, black antenna and it looks very good.
Oh, amd a little Lock-Tite does wonders on those quick to loosen items..

I wanted the short, strong look but thought billet would look bad on the truck, so I bought this All Sales black powdercoated billet shorty antenna from REM. I think stylin' concepts has them as well.

I see I have another problem. I was reading a previous thread about the anten's and saw that you re- use the stock base and just snap a chrome cover in place. The stock base has the broken end of the antena stuck in it. Guess I'm buying a new base. I can hear my wife now, "nice job herc". I get this from her all the time. I seem to have kind of a baby huey thing going on.

How long is the All Sales billet antenna that REM is selling? It looks like it is either a 15" or 21"...also, does it come with an adapter or is one needed for a Ford application like with the Trenz billet antennas?

Thanks in advance,

Dan

'Gadget,

How long is the antenna? The 15" would seem like it was too short for the truck...might look out of place or 'not to scale'.

Thanks again,

Dan

Place called "Shorty's Antennas has colored, flamed (and other) antennas that look great. Unfortunately, their web site is again under construction, but the phone # is"559-291-7426.

Got broken piece of antenna out of base last night. Put in new stock antenna today. All is right with the world again.
