Question RPM hesitation at 3000rpm

I've noticed that when I'm giving it about half-3/4 throttle I sometimes get a slight hesitation at about 3000rpm and it will drop back down to about 2700. It feels like I'm just taking my foot off the pedal, but I know that I am not. Never happens at WOT and only happens occasionally at half-3/4. No strange sounds of any kind... Any ideas?

If it feels like "an extra gear", it is torque converter lockup?

Ya sounds like your torque convertor locking up. Kinda strange that you say it doesn't do it at WOT because I think mine only did it AT WOT ...Nonetheless that's what it sounds like.

People say an Accu-Fab don't make a diff, it made a Huge diff
for me, and was money WELL SPENT. I had many old post complaining about my factory T/B. I had dead spots all over it, you truly would not believe how bad it was, even when it only had a few K on it. The only thing was, mine was at feather weight pedal position. Another words if I was crusing along barely touching the pedal, you could feel it run rough and watch the tach float around, if you pushed harder it went away, but at feather pedal, it spudderd, missed, ran iratic, etc....
the day I changed to an Accu-Fab, all that ended, and low end
response was a diff of night and day.

Let us know if you figure it out ???
GOOD LUCK Vinnie
