Next mods?

I was staring at my Lightning (that is parked for the winter) the other day and started thinking about mods.

Mods I have are in sig. I know a must have are slicks and I've been pricing some wheels and tires out. How are the Hoosier QTPs? Was also thinking about the E-fan and water pump? Thermostat? My goal is consistant mid 12s.

Recommendations?

Thanks!

You should be getting consistent mid-12's with your mods now IMO. I ran a 12.7 on F1's into a 25 mph headwind with just chip and 4# lower. You can do it depending on your 60fts

I did the fan, pulley, chip, water pump, plugs all at one shot and went from stock 13.53 best to a 12.80 best, then added a full exhaust, traction bars , JL ram air kitand a accufab and dropped to a 12.60, both on Nitto's not slicks and both on hot humid days, I like the fan and pump setup at the track as I can turn the fan on to cool the motor between runs and in my opinion getting the stock fan off the motor has to help. As for traction I've never used the QTP's but reading posts I've heard good and bad, the Nittos are a good choice plus you can use your stock rims, but most guys spending time at the track are running Hoosier 16x28x10 slicks on 8 to 10 inch wide rims. Good luck, Todd
