with my new mods, making 15lbs with my KB...do i need to upgrade my fuel pumps to walbro 255 pumps? how much will that help me? or do i even need em?? and also whos got them for a nice price? Outrageous Perf. has em for about $249.00...cheapest ive seen

 

I got my Walbro 255 pumps from JLP for 220 plus shipping.

 

direct plug in. no splicing in to factory harness.

I would change them for added insurance.

 

Yes get them! Depending on your tune you may need bigger injectors soon. I think most of the tuner's sell them I got my from JDM.

Are they the same 255 Walboro fuel pumps that fit in earlier model mustangs/camaros?

 

Isn't the stock fuel system good till about 500RWHP?

New pumps definitely, I cannot stress this enough! and you are pushing you luck with your stock injectors!

At 16lbs boost I am maxed on hp with my stock 42lb injectors according to my tuner. I hit 496 and my tuner told me with 50's or 55's I should be in the 530 hp range. This is all on a very conservative 14 degrees timing. Just keep that in mind from a safety point of view, too.

I went with the dual 255 cobra pumps.
