im torn between mods!!! ive got 2 options here they are...
Option A: *E-fan
*Cobra pump
*Traction Bars
*D/S loop
*255lph fuel pumps
*Dyno/Tune/install

Option B: *Lower End Kit

both about the smae $$
for those who dont know current mods are...
*Kenne Bell w/ 3 1/2 upper 4lb lower, making 15psi
*12'' Filter
*90mm Mass air
*bassani cat back
*Single Blade T/B
*170 thermo
*NGK BR7's
*Diablo Chip

i know what most of you will say...build the lower end cuz of the KB, i dont wanna take a chance..but if i do all these nice bolt ons, i can wait for an entire shortblock, instead of just the do it your self lower end kit....also if i do decide to go with the bolt ons, anything i should sub out for ?? what im asking is....if you guys had about 1,500 to spend what would you get in my case???

 

Depends on what you wanna do with the truck...
I'd hold off on the bolt ons and build up the bottom end.
If you can stay under 15#'s with the KB, then put the money into the bolt ons... If you wanna up the boost and be safe like you said, then wait till you get the cash for the bullet proof block. That's what I'd do. Then after you do the block, if you can do some more bolt ons, you'll feel a lot better cause after every mod you wont really have to worry like you do now (with stock block).
Did you get your truck back from the body shop?

Trust me, go with the built bottom end. From experience, and heartache, it is worth the safeguard!!

for now im staying right at 15 psi, if the block gets built more boost will be in order...but i think mods like the e fan, pump, and fuel pumps will lessen the stress on the block wont it? Im not to sure...mods like the d/s loop and tractions bars are things that are needed for saftey reasons that i need with the power i am making, how good is the PSP lower end kit? whats the diff. between doing that and getting a hole new short block? big $$ diff...does anybody have that kit in their truck? how much boost can it hold? the truck is going in the body shop tomarrow shane, i decided to go with the cervinis cowl hood, and just a stock bumper, and i may have them paint on the saleen graphics on the door...but while i got some down time im thinking about modding, im selling to eaton, stock T/B, and hard tonea cover so i gots some money to work with...but with the right tune @ 15lbs i have faith in my block...but dont get me wrong i wouldnt mind pushing 20lbs : )

 

Well, I heard the other day that the price of the Ford blocks is going up, or has gone up quite a bit, so I would build my block before it is blown....but that's just me.

 

Go for a *safe* dyno tune and bolt ons.

BTW: No. These miniscule stress's have already been over killed in engineering & validation.

Option C:
-25mm Chain Gun capable fo firing AP-IT or HE-IT cycled for 200, 100, or single shot mode.
-7.62mm coaxial mounted machine gun with a 400 round ammo box and low ammo indicator.
-Thermal sights for both driver and passenger with driver override toggle switch.
-Grenade launchers in replace of rear view mirrors.
