Question NOS ? would it help

I have a 5 pound pully, chip, and ram air kit on the truck now.

How would a small nos kit work to cool the intake air down? A 25 to 35 kit. I do not need to put a big kit at this time because of the stock bottom end.

if its tuned right, and you can afford to reduce a little of the timing, I think it will help a lot on a warm day at the track. If I had ballz the size of Rob's I'd be doing the same thing. I think a little 50 shot would more than cool the motor down. (I may actually see/feel more than a 50 shot) I think it'd work real well with the 4# lower pulley I have. I just dont know if it will work well with the stock block. You have to really trust your tune and know your trucks limits. Good luck with it, Shane

Nitrous

You should be fine with a GOOD tune and use of 50 HP to 75 HP of Nitrous.

Don't know your current ET's $um Toy, but a Wet Nitrous Kit
WILL lower your inlet temp AND ET.
NOTHING like Spraying Zub Zero down the ole' barrel to keep
the temps down

With a simple Filter Chip n 4lbs I went from 12.8 to (2) 12.0's immediatly on it's first 2 passes, (65HP of Juice). I find it extremly consistant too, works wonders for guys like me that have no cooling mods at all, and don't even ice the upper between runs.

Did lots of test and tuning with it this past season, mostly messing around with timing (OK I'LL LEAVE IT ALONE) hehehe, Even when the tune was off, I got me some 12.5's, 12.3's, and 12.2's.

It's been flawless for me each and every time. Wen't up to 6lbs and 75HP for the last pass (11.81)
ME LIKEY IT ALOT

There's no secrete to it, you use 65HP jets, AND YOU GET 65HP.

JDM has a great write up on Juice here
