Potring Lower intake question

I have a extrude honed upper, A Internially polished Intermediate plate and a Internally polished lower intake, and my Question is what are the Ramifications If I port the Lower intake to the Gasket withing .100 of an inch without porting the head as well. I dont want to pull the heads to port match them within the same tolerance as the lower intake?

gains

As with a lot of mods we do to our trucks it is hard to tell on the street, I did not dyno before and after I do seem to have a stronger mid range (going by tire spin from a 20 MPH kick) dut other factors also could be to blame. I added a larger heat exchanger at the same time and while it was appart the weather got colder by about 15* but removing that much restriction frim the intake ports had to help at some RPM
