Snout question

i just recently swapped upper pulleys and after this time upon initial start-up I can hear a faint "rattle". Now I have swapped upper pulleys countless times before and I used JLP's puller/press everytime. Did I damage something this time? Truck runs fine, and the noise is only noticable if I get real close to the blower when its running, it does not get louder when more RPM's are there....Any ideas?

Sounds like you should be ok. If you did not put any inward pressure on the shaft there should be no issues.

What year is your truck? If you didn't remove the snout assy. there should be no issue with the coupler alignment ethier.

Peace, Suavy
