Question about Long Tube Headers
i think I have narrowed my want list down to:
Long Tube Headers
Efan/Pump
FTVB
Thorttle Body
Im pretty sure im gonna get the FTVB/4x4 pan done next since its seems like the easiest and cheapest....
then after that I was thinking of saving up for new exhaust... Currently the L has on a 40series catback dual Flowmasters.... all 4 original cats are still on there...
it doesnt sound bad, but when compared to alot of mustangs and trans ams I pull up to I sound like an old lady in a caddilac. I want it LOUD!!!!! Right now, I think I hear the whine over the exhaust.... which isnt bad, but I like the loud exhaust sound... so I was thinking headers was the route to go...
I know there are probably like 4 or so brands to go with... what do you guys recomend? which would give me the most HP gains?? and is about $1500 seem like a reasonable price with installation>?

I paid $1100 for my Dynatechs - longtube, highflow cats and installation - the single X pipe Magnaflow was $400 extra.
Once you go high flow there's no turning back. My sound absolutely rocks! Lost two pounds of boost just to demonstrate their effeciency.

Replace your 4 cats with 2 high flow cats or eliminate them altogether like me. It will be loud then. I am also doing Kooks longtubes. They are in the patio calling my name but my motor is out waiting on the built long block.
