first dyno

Just got back from dynoing the truck for the 1st time. I would post the graph but I'm too lazy to do all that right now. They were all done within 2 minutes of each other. Here are the #'s:

All done on street side
1st - 393.1 HP/491.5 TQ
2nd- 391.3 HP/493.8 TQ
3rd- 385.8 HP/489 TQ

Here are my mods:

6lb pulley
JDM flipchip
LT's
High flows/bassani
Cold air kit
E-fan
Denso IT-22's

Are those #'s about right? Air fuel was 12.0-12.5 across.
What else would I need to get into the 400/500 club? I'm pretty sure I can hit it with my race side but I want to hit it with the street side. I have a T-body on the way, do you all think this would take me over the hump?

Was this a mustang dyno or a dyno jet?

And my opinion is that your ruinning too lean.

With a 6lb puley, fast air kit, chip, efan, and ftvb i put down 405hp and 510 tq on a dyno jet to give you a reference point. Then i added the ported eaton for a 435 rwhp and 540 tq

I won't mention the vendor name publically. I had a an a/f of 12.4 on that run. Just sent it back to get reburned richer (will prob lose power ) and for the Apten port. Hopefully I can still see 440 hp with the Apten at the next dyno I think I have a freak hehe

Good numbers tho!

Seems a little low or dyno is off. I just took part in Jersey Lightning owners dyno day and numbers seemed a little higher with less mods and very rich a/f ratios this was opn JDM's dynojet dyno...
But numbers look good I am sure you will squeeze a few more #'s on maybe a different dyno
Good Luck
Slick

I'd say the dyno might be off too. I dynoed at 353.2/439.2 and 359.2/418.5 on back to back runs with my only mods being a JLP Ram Air, Boost Bypass, and Magnaflow Cat Back. And I forgot to shut off my AC. I'd take it somewhere else and see what you put down. My Dyno Graph looks like this

Still good numbers but I'm sure you have more in it.

well maybe this will help tell if it was off... there was another lightning owner there at same time.. he had a brand new 2004 only 3 weeks old... he put out 348hp but dont remember the torque... but hows that compare to other stock Ls??? i think its pretty acurate

My numbers are pretty much stock. the ram air is worth nothing on a dyno, boost bypass is worth nada, and the Magnaflow the jury is still out on. I honestly would just try a different dyno and see what happens ? you still have good numbers, I just think theres more in it.
