I'm currently stripping the bed of my 4 week old '04 L and damn the 2 steps are a major PITA to get off. I can see 3 of the 4 points where it snaps in, 1 is well hidden. Got the 3 visible ones loose, 4th one broke.

Just curious if anyone knew about how much they run, thanks.

Reason I'm stripping all the bolt on items off the bed (tailgate, bedrails, 4pc body kit, black trim, bumper, wheel wells) is I had a hard impact from a door on the side of the bed and it cracked it, taking just the bed in so I have less to worry about when it comes to overspray on the rest of the vehicle. Hate that stuff.

which one do you need...i have both that i took off, but one of the tab on one is broken but the other one is in good shape with all tabs on. I'll have to go and see which one it is thats good. Let me know because i don't need them anymore.
