Question Traction Bar Question.

Im thinking about ordering a set of traction bars from JLP while there on special, my question is, my truck is lowered 2/4 I want to know how low the bracket that mounts to the frame hangs down below the frame, can someone measure theres and let me know, I just want to make sure I have enough ground clearance.

Larry.

If you wanted to go with the LFP bars I dont think they would scrape...and then theres also the Metco 4-link....be careful though thers 2versions, one for trucks lowerd more than 2 inches, one for less than 2inches...

They are 1" shorter that the ones that Johnny Sold me If I recall they will not work with the Jdm Bars I might be wrong I believe JDM makes there bars longer! Anyway I would let them go for $35.00 they are just sitting there I made two sets one for me and one for Silver-Bolt but he sold his truck for a STI!

Have a welding shop make some for you. I made my own, they are about 33" long, the front brakets mount where the frame curve starts so they have the same clearance as the frame. My L is lowered 2/4 also.

I have thought of making my own 58 inchers out of the aluminum links that go on my race car rear ends. THe problem i think would be making the rear bracket since i dont think there would be much to the fornt one.
