Talking New wheels installed

Just got my brand new Boyd Coddington Smoothie II's installed on the L yesterday. Man do they look sweet. Only problem is now I really need to lower the truck. Funny how the empty gap in the wheel well didn't look that bad with the stock wheels, but looks huge with the Smoothies. Best part was got them out the door for $1,042.00 installed with locks. Will post pics when our galleries are up and running again.

already circling .....

Mart: May I suggest a 3/4 or 4/4 lowering kit? That will close those nasty wheel gaps up...plus improve your trucks handling by quite a bit.

Oh and where are the pics?

Mine will be here Friday. Unfortunately I couldn't find them anywhere near that price. For 18X9's I paid $287. per wheel, total of $1200. delivered with new lugs and stems.

Where did you get them at that price?

Well, now I know what happened to the deposit check I dropped by last Friday !

Haha, J/K! Congrats man, I can't wait for some pictures! Let me know how the lowering process goes - I know you had said that it didn't work to your liking in the past - B/C I might be interested in dropping the L soon after I take delivery.

The stockers are already gone. Sorry, the $287.00 per wheel is a great price, best price I could find too. America's Tire / Discount Tire made a bulk purchase and has them scattered throught the US in warehouses. I got the 18X9" with 5 1/2" backspacing. Since my F1's only had 2,000 miles on them, I didn't want to have to buy tires as well. I will post pics ASAP.

Are you saying you got them from America's Tire/Discount Tire Direct? If so, how did you get them for less than $287. each? That's where I got mine also.

I just called Discount Tire Direct; they said they would match the price you got at the retail store if I had your name so he could verify the pricing. Is it possible for you to e-mail me?

camcojb@aol.com

I'd really appreciate it!

I got them from America's Tire Co. I paid $287.00 each, but they bought my stockers from me. Saved me the trouble of having to Ebay them.

Okay, makes more sense! Thanks and ignore the above edited post! Now I'll have to sell mine. So in essence you got about $200. or so for the stock wheels. That will help with my pricing!

Alright...usually I don't like a lot of the aftermarket wheels that I see on Bolts but those look VERY nice!

Well done!
