I agree that doug has done a great job here, and this has to be one of the toughest boards to moderate.

He also travels to events, takes, and post pics for all of us to see, and never even race at those events. I heard he even let Julie race his truck at the Ennis FFW.

To say that I dont care about the BS that seems to be perpetual at the penal colony down there would not be honest. It offends me when people assemble to take personal shots at anyone especially when its me. Its funny that none of them have EVER done it to my face. And some of them have had the opportunity.

Ya know, Doug and Steve actually moderate this board like it's a family. Families have problems from time to time but the family keeps going on and survives. Every once in a while there is a black sheep that all family members are glad to rid of. A good parent/moderater does all they can to keep the family together and keep it civilized before kicking one of us out of the nest.

Sometime it becomes necessary to take drastic measures. So, I vote to kick Gator, VINNIE, and Don's Bolt out. I hate em.

Apparently you've forgotten the email I sent following our 30-45 minute telephone conversation in late 2002 in which I admitted attending the shindig and apologized for my error in judgment. For the record (AGAIN), I harbor no ill will towards you and, as much as it may shock certain individuals (pun intended), share their opinion in that your efforts here and at events are appreciated.

To further clarify, the waving smiley was NOT intended to pour salt on the wound. Rather a jab to the individual IN the picture, not the original content aimed in your direction.

I am glad someone brought it to notice I have been over moderated on by other forums for what I consider very petty crap. One is the CorvetteForum.com and a few others the mods have god syndrome I appreciate the effort Doug puts fourth year after year. He contributes a lot to the L community by making events, moderating multiple sites and creating and maintaining others. At best all of this costs him time and money and through all the ridicule we get to enjoy the benefits of his efforts. Notice I praised Doug, not the omnispresent Steve....
