Black CF headlights and tailights?

what do black headlights and tailights looks like?

Here is alink to my truck, since I cant open a gallery here yet. These are the same lights you saw on e-bay with blacked out taillights using a can of Nite-Shades. Came out very well I think. If you have questions, let me know!

ya those headlights are badass... im getting them for sure.... they look sweet at night.... but i cant really see the tailights very well... u have any other pics of them u can email me?

You also might want to check on legallity of blacked out heads. In Ca. we can't have them. They will allow us to use velcro to hold a tinted piece over the headlight, but that can only be on the vehicle during daylight hours.

Its illegal to have the lens of the headlight blacked out. Im almost positive its not illegal to have a black housing. I know newer saleens come with black out housings. As long as anything in front of the light is clear then its ok. The housing is not in front of the light and therefore does not obstruct the beam. But, I could be wrong...

You are not wrong. If the DOT says it's cool, that's the end of the story.
