Cold weather = Bad 1-2 shift?
Cold weather = Bad 1-2 shift?
Just wondering if anyone has issues with their 1-2 shift in cold weather?
It seems that since it has been below freezing around here, my 1-2 shift seems to be really soft and slow. Its almost as if the RPM's rise a bit during the shift. Any ideas? I have about 30,000 miles, and am stock.

Your converter will not lock up and you will have different shift programming until the fluid in the pan reaches either 90 or 125 degrees, I forget which is which, but yes, when it's cold the tranny will behave differently.
