Unhappy wrecked my L last night

well..i was driving home around 11:30 last night, when i decided to cut through a publix parking lot...they had the sprinklers going which made the fresh painted surface really slick..came to a stop sign pressed the gas as if i were leaving normally and the tires broke loose...as soon as i let off and tried to turn, the truck started sliding,as i was trying to correct it i hit the gas and slid right into one of the concrete pilings, took out the bumber, headlight, blew out the front right tire, and bent the hood a little...im too upset to take any pics right now, although i will get some on here when i get a chance..i managed to drive home....thank god i had my slicks in the bed..threw one on the rear and moved the read one to the front...also thank God it didnt touch the engine at all..i havent even had my KB on 3 weeks!thanks god but no one was hurt, airbags didnt go off or anything..but will probably be without the truck for a while...i like to look at things in a good way...no injuries, my old bumber need some new touching up anyways, and now i got an escuse to get that nice cervins ram air hood that i like so much.... but i learned a lesson that wet pavement is slicker than you think!

Bummer Leo

I can't hit the gas on dry pavement w/o a KB, so I can
imagine w/ one it must be quite a foot dance driving in wet.

Like you said, TG no one was hurt and no other cars
were involved, still sucks though, bummer Pal.
Hope she's better than new in no time

Glad your o.k., just a battered ego is much better than an injury!

I run Nitto 555r's and even on a straight line cruising my rear has broken under med throttle in wet conditions - Danny doesn't play in the rain no more!

Looking forward to the new hood pictures!

D-Day

Sorry to hear that. Sounds like it doesnt have major damage. Just let them check the frame out when they do repair it just to be sure.
