Re: *jlp New Year Savings*

JLP FORCED AIR KIT SPECIAL...

JLP FORCED AIR INDUCTION SYSTEM-$255.00

JLP Air Kit with filter, Box&Cover-$155.00

What is the difference between these kits? I need to replace my "hot" air induction system.
Anybody have pics of both. Looked on the website but it's a little messy right now.

Thanks,
Eric

Johnny, I have been having a problem with my 01 since getting my new long block (details below) and am wondering if you think getting a Predator from you with the ODBII and tuning flexibilty would help me resolve it without sending chips back and forth.

I have 2 chips. 1 is a JL Diablo that ran great on my truck before I blew it up and built the new long block and the other is a PSP 4 program chip. The programs are street, race, 75hp NO2, 125HP NO2. Using programs 1&2 and your ship and no chip at all I get a diesel/rattle sound (I assume detonation) that does not sound like typical detonation at low throttle possitions with slight load (not under deceleration) but I get no noise using the NO2 programs. I am asuming the that NO2 programs are running less advance (and as I run a wet NO2 spray they should not add fuel and that is why I assume it is some type of detonation. Would the ODBII options help me pin down a pat failure and also allow me to add fuel and or remove advance to dial it in? If so I will order one today.

Exactly,

Which means you can do what I did
Just buy the Box/Filter/Cover deal, and save a ton of $,
simply pipe it yourself, I did and it Works awesome.

Plus Eric if you already have Hot Air Induction, you prob
did what I did and paid over $200.00 for basically a
$40.00 fliter and are currently running an open filter.
Now you also have an extra filter.

I think I'm going to have to take the plunge. These prices are just too good to pass up. Hey Rob, since you've tried about everything. If I have the High flow air filter, Magnaflow cat back, 4 #'r, Predator tune, and plugs, should this put my L in the 12's?

Thanks
