Does anybody know the best way to paint stainless?? I bought a SS Speed Grill but want it black to match truck. Is it just a basic primer, spray can paint, clear?? Also, since I have an 01 and this piece is made for a honeycomb 99-00 style Lightning, what would be the best way to mount it?? I can still see the Ford logo through the new grill......This is being more of a hassle than a bolt on mod!

 

You Paint stainless the came way you paint carbon steel it is treated no differently. As far as painting it with a rattle can All I can say is that I am way to **** to do that I take all my componants to a freind of mine who owns a body shop! Ever thought of having it powdercoated

 

Id have it powder coated if i was you. It will last a long time and look 100%
