I get a similar noise when it is cold outside. When it is very very cold I some times get a super high pitched loud noise for a few seconds after driving for a few minutes. It happens every winter when its gets very cold. After the truck warms up the super high pitched noise won’t happen but the slight high pitched (fuel pump sound) is always there when its cold out. I know mine is nothing to worry about since it happened from day one. Hope this helps. Not sure if it’s the same thing as yours.

I've experienced a lower pitched hum from the IAC valve before. (on a 4.6L)

Had to wind up replacing it at $65

Hmmm, that is much higher pitched then the soound I get. Thats almost like the second noise I was talking about that only happens for a couple of seconds when it is very very cold.

I have no idea what that could be

Disconnect both Belts and eliminate the pulley system. These pully bearings do weird crap when the temps start to drop.

Mine is doing the EXACT same thing...the past few mornings here
in Georgia have been 19-25 degrees...it seems to be coming from the fuel pump......in the am, crank it up and listen at your left rear wheel (at the gas tank)...it is an electrical type pitched sound.
