I had them custom made locally. I have been getting some requests lately, so I may get some more sets made up. I can sell them for around $25, if I remember correctly. They are polished stainless, not the thin aluminum that come with the hood

 

The speed grill inserts only look good if you have the matching grills... empty is the only way it looks right with the stock grills from any year... but thats my .02 as usual

 

Skank, where did you get the SVT grill emblem at?

 

I say no inserts for your hood LatemodelRacer2. As crazy as this sounds...the openings w/o the inserts seems to add depth to your hood. IMO opinion it has a meaner look w/o the inserts. Does that make sense?

Skank Dog I'm with you. After seeing your hood with inserts, I can't imagine it without them either.

IMHO both of your hoods look great!

 

I agree with you that it is a totally different hood without them.
