promod's times are BS, I have proof!!!

Here is the proof that Pete's time slip is a BS one. The time slip shows the Barometric pressure to be at 30.63 inches of mercury. Which means there was a High pressure ridge in the area.

According to the Palm Beach County Int' Airport weather data for the date Pete "went" to the track, October 10, 2003. was 29.83 from 5pm to 29.86 to 12 pm.

I had 2 years of Meteorology in College for Pilot training so I know what I am doing here. There is no way, nowhere a pressure reading of that high in the state of Florida for a track.

Not Bradenton, Not Gainsville, not Moroso. Unless he took his truck up north 1000 miles away and ran it.

YOU HAVE BEEN EXPOSED!!!! GET THAT NUMBER 2 IN THE NATION OFF!!!

So you think he fabricated the time slip?

Is it possible that the data used or obtained by the tracks computer was faulty? I think it's common for time slips are tracks to have the wrong date and time of day - I even saw a 9 sec slip for a Lightning with a 0.90 sec 60' which was obviously a 11.xxx sec run with more like a 1.6x 60' but my point is the stuff that prints on the time slip isn't always accurate.

Maybe the track doesn't really worry about the accuracy of the barometric pressure reading? Where do they get that reading? If it is some on-site piece of equipment providing the data, maybe that equipment is faulty?

I'd need more than this to call someone a liar.

He's not even showing the top of the slip. I have slips from Moroso and they do not match!!!! It's a slip from another track and the barometric pressure readings from those respected areas in S FL are not that. Besides he said he went on October 10th. The only track open that date was Moroso & Bradenton.

PROOF, CALL ME PERRY MASON!!!!

I should have been a detective LOL

Don't get me wrong, he's got the potential!!! I want him to run 9's. But it's unfair to "say" you ran 10.45 when you didn't. It's unfair to Sal, Johnny, Jim.

He will make the Lightning Gods mad!!!! With his fabricated time slip from where ever!!!

It's not official, it should have an asterisk next to his times.

Times slips can't be considered gospel, not with all the slips we get down here showing anywhere from 247 mph to 1800 mph in 1/8 mile and 1/4 miles runs. We even had a truck run a 11 sec pass after being in the mid 12's all day with no changes and BAM, he was told not to run again without a roll cage. Who was with him that could speak for him? Those are the real witnesses. The time slip looks real, waudded and all, the numbers make since if compared to other runs of comperable times. My guess is the slip is real but if anyone was with him, that would remove all doubt from those that are skeptical.

Yeah, its funny how non-Lightning owners come out of the woodwork to try and discredit any non-REM Lightnings. This guy Jewislightning is Paul and Tims best friend at REM. Why dont you go to the track next time and check the calibration of thier instruments for me, Jewishlightning. and Easterisland, you are a cutting-edge Lightning owner as am I, and we have absolutely no need or desires to buy a timeslip off of ebay. See you at the track Kosherman..... PEACE

Oh, and let us not forget the Temp of "0" along with a RH of "0" %. Hmmmmm,, maybe the track's equipment isn't up to specs........???

can we get a mod to warn some people here and delete this thread, I'm sick of seeing these BS arguements on this forum.
