Paging Console guys...

Ok, ive searched for hours on end and got a bunch of answers out of that, but im still a little lost...

form what ive gathered (from VINNIE), i need these three parts...

Part # F65Z-1561709-CAJ (Support Assembly) $75
Part# YL3Z-1563100-BB (Spiring Assembly)$45
Part# YL3Z-15603A86-BAA (Handle Assembly)$15

Your apolsterer will need the support assembly as a template for the passenger seat.

The spring and handle go under the seat because you can no longer use the stock ones (Handle too wide and spring assembly too short).

Hope this helps.

I bought the support assembly then sent it back, just have the guy cut the seat and weld in a new crossmember....that's what my guy did, saved me 100 bucks or so.

There is an adaptor plate that will bolt up to the original OEM seat bolt holes on the passenger side. You can mount a bucket seat onto it without having to cut up the oem passenger seat. May require drilling some holes into it to bolt what ever bucket seat you are trying to use. If you email me I will get you the dealers name that sells this adaptor plate.
I use an E-150 OEM power seat and used the Lightning passenger side seat cover to recover my new bucket seat with. Now I have two electric seats. This way you can save the oem passenger side seat frame if you wish, mine ended up in the trash.

Well im going to the junkyard today if they open up, im gonna grab a seat out of the same explorer that i got the console from, hopefully its electric, well see.

Latemodelracer, ill let you know how this goes since you seem like youre in the same boat as me...

VINNIE, willi need all three of those parts from ford, or can i get them from the expy im going to? im trying to figure what they are, im guessing the seat frame, spring for adjusting the seat, and the handle for adjusting also? if thats right, then i should just grab all the attatchments on the expy seat and be good right?

sorry for all the questions, just trying to get this right before i go do it. Im gonna try to do a real good step by step when im done.

thanks for the help
