if you could get your 60ft down to even a 1.7 you would easilly be in the sevens

i was launching it about 1500-2000rpm, and as i have said before jax raceways isnt the best of tracks..they never spray it down, or clean it, its a dirt road to come in! the best 60ft. i have ever pulled with the slicks out ther is a 1.80 its just part of the track...so maybe i will try going down to G-ville and see whats up!

i don't think you wanna launch from such a high rpm. I think most succesful launches are done from idle or just a tad above idle.

If you still have the stock t.c. try around 900-1200. But 1.8's are darn good for tracks around me too.

You might want to think about some traction bars since you've gone up in hp and if you start "hooking" good.

I run the same 1/8 times as that with the stock eaton. 13psi. I run high 12's in the 1/4, always get 1.8's at 3 different tracks. I'm running goodyear f-1's with no tracion bars. Sounds like they need to do some better track prep. Anyways those times and mph seem slow for a K.B. Do you live at a high elavation or something?

Congrats Leo, those KB's pull like a Mo Fo
Nice 1st pass, but you do have A TON more in it,
YOU KNOW THAT
That equates out to a 12.7 - 12.8 1/4 mi pass
You got another 2 seconds worth of ET to tune up to with that
bad boy. Your currant tune must be waaaaaaaaaay off.
Are you still running a stock lower end ???

BTW
Although your track may not be a good hooker,
You still got an easy 2/10th's to take off your 60ft times, OR MORE. That will equate to up to 3/10 - 4/10th's better final ET
(give or take) right there

CONGRATS LEO,
ANOTHER BEAST IN THE MAKING

Leo,

Congratulations on the install. I race at slippery tracks as well and sometimes find it better to launch from a fast idle.

Like Rob 02 said .......I would check your tune but you do have A TON more in it, I have Eaton, my 1/8 is 7.38 and That is at a higher elevation than you posted.

I am interested in knowing if you have to go to 50/55# injectors and KB Boost a Pump as well. I am sure you will get it all sorted out. 6 more mph will put you into the 11s.

Jim

That was almost identical to my run on F1's with 4# and chip. 1.89 60ft on F1's, 8.1 1/8, 12.78 1/4

You should be running faster on slicks with a KB IMO!!!
