Well its official...

I just sold my 02 HD in hopes of getting my 01 L ready for the next season... This site talked me into buying the L and I left it stock for a while but the time has come to go fast..... I am sad to see the HD go, it did a great job while it was around. But with the L being lighter and looking just as good if not better, it was a hands down decision. So, welcome a new L modder.... even though I have posted her ebefore I am now a L only owner and let the question and fun begin. I will be running all the mods I had on the HD nad from just swapping over the pulleys and FTVB with trac bars and etc....The truck has really opened up. Its amazing how you can feel 1000 pounds. throttle response is better and the truck moves like a raped ape.... I will say that this site has been awesome to watch and be apart of. You guys rule!!! I am a little nervous running the truck with the pulleys I have seeing 16-17 pounds but you only live once right!!! With the awesome tune I have it seems OK so far...The SMC kit is on and Ijust have to find a local dyno/tuner to dial me in.

Well enough of me rambeling.......

P.S. I wonder if the moderator will let me change my screen name now that I dont have a HD????

Thanks again guys for an awesome site.....I hope to be a big part of this family you have here!!

Cool, good luck with the L.
You said 1000 pound differance? I always thought it was around 500 pounds. You having owned both should know though. So is the weight differance really 1000 pounds?

You can say that again, I just told my wife she can have her boob job so she won't give me a hard time about the money I'm spending to upgrade my L.
Ohh yeahhhh, I would call this a win - win situation, but I say it was a selfless act. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

So far, got my FT Valve Body, Boyd's Smoothie II's, and I'm not done. Gotta love it.

You can say that again

I said to myself no mods this year, and I thought I was going to be able to do it.

But no, it is biting me again

New combo for next season is started
new front springs
new sway bars

and one secret mod

ouch
