blew third spark plug in my 00 Lightning.
I'm curious if this has happened to anyone else. My contact at ford says this is the 4th one he has heard of. My 2000 Lightning is bone stock with 53, 500 miles. Any advise would be great. Thanks
I've heard of this happeningonc or twice...

Ford is quite aware of this problem.
to remedy it, the '03 and newer Lightning have 8 thread spark plug holes instead of the 4 that 99-03 have.

Is the truck out of warranty? Being stock, you have more of a chance of getting it covered... (if you have a warranty) Most dealerships are pretty good about replacing the head after a launched plug... Mines a 2000 also, but I have the extended warranty. Good luck getten it fixed.
