whew, what a mouthful ..........sounds like a good plan though. My FTVB doesn't shift hard at all unless I step on the gas............wouldn't even know it's there otherwise......

It was my pleasure tlfwatch
And as you know, I bought mine for the same reasons
you are, everyone kept telling me I MUST or else.
I know I needed it, the fact is, I've had shift point
problems for almost two yrs now and it truly did have to be addressed immediatly. (well if you can call almost 2 yrs immediate) hehehehehe "I simply had no choice anymore."

The good news is my tranny fluid was as bright red,
and as perfect as the day Ford put it in, and the magnet had
an extremly small amount of metalic like filings on it,
much less than I expected, even if Grand Ma was drivng it
all this time, (another words no damage done so far, I HOPE)
I should have taken a picture, but it was so little, that I wiped
it off with one finger and wam it was gone.

But the fact is, launching with 15/16 lbs of Boost
+ 75HP of Nitrous to an 11.81 ET, even with all that hopping
and swaying I was doing, is def gonna destroy the stock
tranny some day. (even with the T/B, it still might some day) Schitt, it even became too much for the truck traks to handle,
but remember my Nitrous engauges immediatly, most dont,
That does play a part in the shifting and hopping problems I had.
Hopefully both are now fixed with the JDM Bars and this V/B.

Please don't let my babbling scare you,
REMEMBER, I was running 6lbs of pulley up til this morning,
plus JLP Cool Air (even more boost), plus the Accu Fab, Multi Spark, Hi timing, and I do have some tranny tweaking in my chip,
that will most likely have to be removed.
YOU'LL BE FINE
AWESOME PRODUCT
ENJOY IT
AND HOLD ON

TLFWATCH If you have a chip make sure that you have stock fact line pressure, if not it will shift so hard at slow speed you will hate it. when my chip was reburned i told the guy (will remain nameless) i wanted stock line pressure. When i got it back it was bang shifting, i hated it. I called him . he said you have stock line pressure, i just made it shift faster. You can not make it shift faster unless you increase line pressure. Pull chip after you install FTVB . That is the way it will shift at slow speeds. You will be ok without chip if you stay out of blower boost for the test. It will be perfect at WOT Good luck
