Anyone know where I can find a replacement Ford oval badge for the tailgate that is the metal type and not the plastic one.

Thanks

I bought a stock LIGHTNING emblem on eBAY (new in Ford packaging) and placed it on my '03 L's tailgate in place of the F150SVT emblem. Holes are the same and the LIGHTNING logo looks good/ in my opinion better back there then the stocker F150SVT one. Can be had on eBAY for about $25 a pair.

Thanks, but what was taken was the acctual Ford oval on the right side of the tailgate...but using the Lightning emblem in place of the SVT-F150 is something to think about. I only wish I could have seen the ones that took it off. I'm no little man(6ft 250 pounds). But the little gutt-less turds did it at the mall while I was X-mas shopping for my kids. WHAT A WORLD.

Same ***** hapenned to me! I went out to get the mail and on my way up the driveway I noticed the adhesive under the "S" in SVT/F-150 coming out. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that some loser had tried to pry the badge off but couldn't get it off. He did manage to completely separate the adhesive from the S though. My truck is NEVER out of my sight. I do not leave it parked at stores and it stays parked 15 feet in front of my counter at work while it's always in the garage while at home. But the other day, I left it in my driveway for about one hour during lunchtime and I think that's when it hapenned. What bother's me more than the badge is knowing that maybe even in front of my own house the truck isn't safe from these wastes of life.
