How to get stock ac ***** off of L

I cant seem to get the stock ac ***** off(recently recieved billet ones from gf for christmas). On my mustang the stockers popped off and the billet ones popped right on. Any info on getting these off would be great.

if you don't care about the stock ones, one of these works great.

I actually tried vise grips with a small terry towel sandwhiched between so I wouldnt damage the stockers. Guess I will just have to destroy them!

If you can get behind it with a thick paper clip, or an eye glass screwdriver, that will get it off --> DAMAGE FREE<--
(thats how I did mine)

Geez
Can we have one post here, without the word eye in it

thanks for asking, it's actually much better now, "other than uncontrolable twitching" and a little discomfort.
But Hey, the swelling went back down, to dam near normal.

I used one of those round flat rubber gadgets used to open tough bottles/cans and a pair of pliers. Worked great and no damage to stock ones.

I just replaced mine and all I did was pull the stock ones off.You have to pull like a son of a biatch, but they come off.(I used channel locks and a rag, they still got messed up!)

I dont have billet ones yet but i pulled mine of withmy hands the other day when cleaning the interior and it was pretty easy to do. They came off with little effort and no pliers were needed.
