I don't have an answer for you TODAY,
but I should within a few days.
I got my Factory Tech last night (haven't put it in yet)
Like you, I DO NOT want to give up comfort.

To me having an 11 second Lightning with Stock Exhuast
and Stock Suspension is part of the magic I ENJOY.
The last thing I want is the tranny BANGING into gear,
however at this point I simply have no choice anymore.
I will post my results as soon as it's in. I have off til next Friday, so rest assure it'll be in soon

I think it's one of the best mods you can do to our trucks. Go for it. With the power you're making, if you are a heavy footed driver, you may be in the market for a moster box soon anyway. The FTVB shouldn't contribute to that though.

If you have to ask, then you probably wouldn't understand.

There's nothing wrong with having a lot of power and not wanting to race it. Maybe that's just his choice.

Talking NOT INTERRESTED IN RACIN EXCEPT NASCAR

You don't seem to understand they are other enjoyments we lightning owners get out of our lightnings besides racing them i hope you understand this is a special truck and it goes beyond racing ok. so here goes i love horsepower i love torque and my red 2003 lightning 406 of 4270 birthday 12-18-02 nobody fools with my truck so me and my lightning have a close bond and they are other enjoyments driving you see i don't have to race anybody you see i can beat most any body out there except other lightnings so if i please my self i am happy one reason i belong to this board is we can talk to one another and find out what works for our trucks and what don't

He prolly needs to the power in case of an accident.

What if hes on the highway and some ******* speeds by and almost rams him, instead he floored it to 160mph and got away from the potential accident. Thats why! lol FTVB = the best.

Hey I was just looking @ your gallery.. That's pretty cool what you do. I know it's different from that, but my father used to race a sprint car back in the day. Actually, he sold his car to some guy and it's in the hall of fame now. He tried to get me into that circle track stuff when I was younger, and I still like it but I wanted the jr. dragster instead... lol.

Well good luck
Sometimes I wonder what it'd be like if I got into that instead of drag racing. Oh well, it's still fun to watch though
