I just had a conversation with a self-proclaimed Lightning know-it-all, who just happens to drive a Gen III F-body. He told me that "Lightnings suck" and that they need a supercharger to keep up w/ LS1's. I then reminded him that our trucks weigh 5000lbs on average.

He then told me they blow rear ends easily, the valves close at 5000rpm, and I need a timing retard module to go fast.

Of course he stated that L's cant go faster than bottom 12's, ever. Then I pointed him to JDM, PSP, and JL websites.

He lives in the USA, and I live in Canada so I can't really show him what Lightning power is all about. I just let him run his mouth about how because it only revs to 5k, we cant go fast, and how we fry pistons every pass down the 1/4 mile, and how L's are dyno queens, unreliable and POS.

I wish I knew where he was from so some locals on this board could shut him up! Ignorance is the stigma of the uninformed.

Sorry, I just had to vent, and maintain the L pride!!
