I know exactly what you mean.
Bought mine last january, drove it home and parked it until April.
Now it's again in storage until April.

I just go out there and start it and listen to the purring engine and let the fumes put me to sleep. (JK)

Just got back to the house after a trip in mine. Boy was WoodBridge Mall packed

Between the well worn F-1's and the cold ground, it was like driving on ice everytime I got into the throttle

Haven't driven mine since 11/14 thats when I had my heart attack. Had 7 by passes done on the 21st. Went to the doctor yesterday and he said I can drive if I take it easy. I guess that leaves the L out!!
Don,
Did you ever get a chance to take any pictures of the calipers on you lightning?? My 15" bogarts came while I was in the hospital and I found an old post you made about the procedure for grinding and moving the calipers. I just wondered if you had any pictures and do you have to do much to the front to run 15's??
Any help would be appreciated as I am going to get someone local to do this for me. I am still limited to lifting 5 pounds for another 3 weeks.
If you have any pictures, you can send them to me @ mtmeyers@earthlink.net
Thanks
Mike

When I walk outside to go to work, and pick my car to drive I always pick the Lightning. Not that the other cars are worth mentioning, but even if they were nice I'd still want to drive the L.
Ya it was awesome getting back into the Silver beast today. A quick blast out of a toll booth reminded me why I love her so much. Watching all the other cars getting smaller in the rearview mirror, and knowing I still have a lot more throttle left.

Well tomorow it is back to the SVT Focus for a while. Hey I am not complaining it is a blast to drive, but it has about 600 less lbs of torque. It won't throw you back in the seat, but get it on a twisty road and not much will keep up with it.
