How to polish

Ok, winter is here, the L is in the bodyshop getting all the little nics and dents out. Looking to do some cosmetic work over the next few months.

First I plan on smoothing and painting all the interior plastic engine parts silver.

I would also like to polish the Plenum & t/b, Is this something I can do in my garage. Does anybody have a link on how the process is done? Thanks

To say the least.......It is not hard, you just need the right tools/materials. However it is very time consuming if you want to do a good job.

I posted some info on SVTPerformance about a job I did, maybe that will help you out.

Just Pay Soap to do it, He's great at polishing things.

(wait that sounded bad!)

He has polished a bunch of engine parts that turned out like a mirror.
