what are the best mods to do on a 01 lightning

dear members i was wondering if any one can help me see i have an 01 lightning and i was wondering what were the best mods to do to get into the 12's i know a tire and a pulley but other than that i am totally lost if also whos the best tuner and best place to buy from if you could please help me out it would be much appreciated thanks

see my singature and you can decide from that as mine is an 01 and i am happy the way it drives and preforms.

Chip filter and 4lb pulley should get you there. Id even go with a intake spacer and t-stat to make it a for shure thing. I got all my parts from JDM just click the link in my sig.

All the major tuners are good at what they do and can get you in the 12's with no problem .. Just tell em what you want, my preference is Johnny Lightning, great people to deal with I swear...................

160* 'stat
JL 5# lower pulley
Goodyear Gatorback s/c belt
NGK BR7EF plugs
Royal Purple 5w20 Synthetic oil
Single-blade throttle body(not really 'necessary but I have it)
Truk-Track slapper bars or traction bars
Disconnect the boost dump solenoid
M/T ET Streets--ARE Baja wheels
Remove the hitch, spare tire, and jack
Leave the tail gate 'on-and-up'
