Nitrous injection plate after blower???
Hey,
Anybody make one that fits between the intercooler and the blower??
I guess it could be made like the PSP plate that goes after the T/B. Maybe out of the same material as a phenolic spacer or billet aluminum?
I am having my blower ported at the moment and was told by the machine shop that they could tell my blower was being hot/cold stressed and I would be better off to spray my nitrous after the blower. They said the blower looked fine, but it would last longer if I would spray after the blower. There is a lot of stress being put on our rotors when the temperature goes from one extreme to the other inside the blower.
I don't think anybody makes a kit for our Lightnings that uses direct port injection for the nitrous and probably the kit would be expensive?
Sounds like using a billet plate after the blower would be the best bet and the cheapest.
I saw Pauls High perfomance had put billet spacer on the Casper truck (Jerry Green's) about 2 yrs ago, it was about an inch tall. I never did get a chance to ask Paul why?
What you guys think?
tks

Here's some posts I found with a quick search...

...and I found out what happened to the setup; he threw a rod, so he put the nitrous on his cobra
