Good luck finding any. I bought some tips off of JLP I think. They are Bassani tips and might I say beautiful. However it is pain in the you know what to get them on. In other words the tail pipes need to be made from scratch to accomadate the tips and frankly I'm probably just going to sell them. If it costs a couple bills to do it, then a guy might as well just to start looking at a complete cat-back system.

Man I really like those, however I am getting old and I guess that I just don't want anything louder. If I may say again however, those are nice tips(it's okay to say that to another guy, right?)

It's not as loud as i thought it would be.

At idle it sounds stock. Cruising you can barely hear it. Coming from a light you can tell its there, but level off at 40 and you're quiet once again.

Get on it and it roars like an animal!

Thanks for the compliment on my tips. I like em too haha.

Man all these shiny exhaust tips make my basani ones look like crap. The front one has tons of little rock chips in them and they have lost there bling factor. Makes me want to replace them but im to lazy

Let's hear from those who have put them on...that is the question. I asked this exact question a couple of weeks ago, and everyone told me it wasn't cost effective to just replace the tips. I won't know until I hear how much money people have spent on the tips. To me, it's worth it anyways because I plan on keeping the stock exhaust. All the work they did making these trucks beautiful, you'd think Ford would make the tips at least maintainable....I have tried and tried and I can get them clean, but they are still dull

Could someone clarify for me. Where can you get the tips and how much. I have a friend who can weld them on no problem.

Is welding the only pain in the butt here?

I'm keeping my stock exhaust and replacing the tips (to change the sound) seems like a great idea.

Thanks,

I think its more involved than just welding tips. I could be wrong , but I think its the pipes from the muffler back. If somebody finds out for sure, post it
