Well yesterday i raced my friend in his 95 5.0 mustang. we were going about 30, he hit the gas, then i did, and i flew by him, lol. I love this truck.

 

The 5.0's in this town lay to my truck. But im really not in raicng as much anymore i think women are starting to get to me.

 

when i first read the title i thought you raced a cop. i was gonna give you mad props.

 

Ya I just had my first kill on saturday against a newer GT with the 4.6L. I know it isnt much compared to guys beating Z06's, but I've never had a car (or truck) that could beat a car as fast as a Stang. Hey you gotta start with the kills somewhere.

What kind of cars will a stock L beat? What cars should I be cautious of?

 

Z06s and Vipers for me

 

I would just be careful who you race if ego is your thing. I personally havent lost to anything i have lined up to. I like to **** people in Z06's and any other thing i have lined up with but for some reason street racing just doesnt apeal me as much as it used to.

I've beaten a number of them around town, but I've also had my @$$ handed to me. Dont take them lightly.

I own a modded 88 5.0 One more thing to remember, these are very tricky cars to launch. When I first bought it, I lost to a lot of cars that I had no business losing to. Now that I have some experience(good tires) it's the other way around.

 

I raced one of the older GT's the other night. From the red light I walked him bad and he quit. A few minutes later and a couple miles out of town he caught up to me and wanted another peice. We were probably running 50-55 when he got on it and he caught me sleeping a little b/c I really wasnt expecting him to try again, needless to say he took me pretty bad that time. From a roll at highway speed I dont seem to have much to offer.

 

thats a lame excuse John, you cant quit racing until we meet at the track though. Your the only other L around here for me to mess with!

 

Just becuase i might go back to a 2lb lower doesnt mean i dont have a plan but i might do the plan and leave the 4lb lower on. Better watch out its gonna be high on some kind of gas
