Picked this game up for the ol X-Box this last weekend. It was only 20 bucks brand new from EB Games. Would make a good gift for a kid who loves Lightnings and games.

It has just about every worth while car/truck ford makes... it has off road racing as well as street/strip. It looks and plays very much like GT3...the pics arent the best..just my digital cam pointed at my T from about 3 feet away...so you can see the scan lines some.

The game itself is actually very clear detail wise, the controls are great, and the truck sounds mean ...no blower whine though.

Steve: Hows the tube coming?

 

bought that game for ps2 and it was worth the 20 bucks...too bad you dont get the supercharger whine sound effects...still a good game!

The L looks cool but the game ain't so hot. Try Gotham Racing 2. It has a gen 2 Lightning in it also Much better game IMO.

 

I will start grinding and smoothing your tube on Tuesday.

Not only does it have a gen 2... but it also has the SC sound effects.

 

Steve: I thought you had already started, let me know when its done. I cant wait to get that thing installed, you think you could buff the MAF again for a few seconds when I pick the tube up?



I didnt know GR2 had a Gen2 in it, I have the first GR and I hate it personally... the tracks are way to tight and dont give you enough room to take the corners with a slide. The new "Live" feature made me want to rent the new one though...guess I will have to know.

Im very pleased with the Ford Racing one though, I think the game is very well done, not quite GT3 level, but very close.

 

Lets only use personal email accounts when you start talking about buffing your Tube or Pipe.

I'll take some pictures of the Lightning on project gotham racing tomorrow. It is alot of fun to drive. Now if there was just a cheat code to make it out run a ferrari.

 

Man, I can't wait to get the game now!
