Where do you measure the gap from? I have the plugs in front me with a feeler gauge and it reads between .028-.032 on a plugs that is factory set at .044
Are they measuring the gap from the bottom of the U?

I want to set them to .038

 

No, just measure them like a regular plug across the gap.
