Fog Light Dimensions?

Does anyone know the dimensions (diameter and depth) of the fog lights on an 02 Lightning?
Would a 4" diameter; 3-3/32" depth fit? Also I know there are those 3 tabs that hold the fog light in place. I have never looked at the though so my question is can they be tranfferd to a universal fog light so it will hold in place?

I have an idea for something that would look sweet so am doing research and if it works I think a lot of people will want to do this mad Well maybe LOL

Thank for any input.

I just went out and measured. Loks like they have a 5" diam.

Back to the drawing-board.

Ya I have looked into replacing them with some aftermarket light, but I haven't found anything close yet.

If anyone has any ideas I am listening

i am trying to find a good replacement, after one of my 03 lights filled with water after a wash. these might work:

but they may not fill the whole opening though.

these are closer 4.75", but is 100 wattlights that put out 110,000 candlepower too bright for driving lights?

the 99 and 00 were about a 4 or 5 out of 10 in the pain in the a$%, scale, the 01+ would be harder, the 99 and 00 had a metal backing behind the plactic to attach the aftermarket to, the 01+ just have the plactic, u could attach the fog to this but to would shake alot and looks cheap going down the road IMO. you could make a support and tie to the frame, which i did anyway on my 00, it still shook alittle on bumpy road and here im mich. thats all i have..

i changed the mounting location in the top two pics but u get the idea..
